How It Works

Each image is sent to the server where Sharp resizes it to your target dimensions using Lanczos3 resampling — the gold standard for downscaling. When “Keep ratio” is enabled, only the width is used and the height is calculated automatically from the original aspect ratio. The result is returned as a downloadable PNG.
