About Checkers
Checkers (also known as Draughts) is the classic board game of tactical piece movement and capturing. Play on an 8×8 board, moving your pieces diagonally forward and jumping over opponent pieces to capture them. Reach the opposite end of the board to crown a piece as a king, which can move and capture in both directions. With a smart AI opponent offering multiple difficulty levels, Checkers provides an engaging strategic challenge that has been a staple of gaming for hundreds of years.

How to Play
- 1Tap a piece to select it, then tap a highlighted square to move diagonally forward
- 2Jump over opponent pieces diagonally to capture them — the captured piece is removed
- 3If a jump is available, you must take it (mandatory capture rule)
- 4Chain multiple jumps in a single turn when consecutive captures are possible
- 5Reach the opponent end of the board to promote your piece to a king
- 6Kings can move and capture both forward and backward diagonally
- 7Capture all opponent pieces or block all their moves to win
